*All new customers will need to purchase an approved 120L garbage can ($68.00ea) and provide a lidded food scrap container upon signup. Food scrap containers may be purchased at a cost of $15.00 but any container that has an easily removable lid and is under 45L in capacity may be used at this time. Please note the following list of products are banned from the Hartland Land fill that garbage collection drivers are prohibited to take : Drywall, Tires, Metal Products, Yard waste, Wood, Metal or plastic clips on compost bags. Most of these products can recycled at Hartland or for Metal Brentwood Auto & Metal Recyclers 7481 West Saanich Rd. Also Please ensure that all garbage & compostable refuse are in tied up bags.
