CONGRATULATIONS TO TIM HASTED, OF NORTH SAANICH ON BEING THE WINNER OF THE 2023 VACATION PRIZE GIVEAWAY
Greetings Valued Clients,
It has been a long time since we at Pan-Insula Disposal have had the opportunity to reach out and communicate directly with our loyal customer base and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patronage and re-affirm our commitment to you that we intend to continue to provide you with the best service we can at a price you can afford. As always, we welcome your feedback and would love to hear from you about any successes or ways you feel we can improve. Please feel free to reach out to me personally at [email protected] any time and I will welcome your feedback. Together I hope we can make the Saanich Peninsula a place where customer satisfaction in the waste collection industry is above and beyond expectations for other regions.
In order to provide you with the highest standard of curbside waste removal we have had to make some changes to our current model of collection. Recently, we have been experiencing some safety concerns regarding our current model of some customers mixing the food scraps and household garbage in the same waste receptacle. In the past, we have encouraged our client to bag and separate the food scraps and place them into the same receptacle as the household waste. This process involves the collections specialists having to hand sort the waste at the site of collection. Unfortunately, there have been instances of sharp objects protruding into the food scraps from the waste they are mixed in with (glass, jagged tin, needles, etc.). In keeping with our goals to keep our drivers safe, all of whom are your neighbors and many of whom you know personally, we will be instituting a policy of requiring food scraps to be placed into a separate container for collection, and this container must be outside the household waste receptacle at the time of collection. Please ensure all waste, both household waste and food scraps are bagged, tied up and manageable to be lifted by hand as some of our collection specialists must manually load the waste. Please note that we are not very picky about the style of container that you choose to use for your food scraps, only that it has an easily removable lid and does not exceed your allowable volume for the plan you have chosen to use for your collection needs.
In closing I would like to thank all of you for your continued commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for the workers at Pan-Insula Disposal. We try not to ask anything of our valued customers without thorough consideration, and only do so to maintain the highest standards that you have come to expect from us. Healthy collections specialists are our most valued resource at Pan-Insula Disposal and we need all of them to keep our collections on time and at the quality you have come to
Thank you from all of us for your continued patronage,
